Happy Halloween

This year Jace was Mr. Potato Head. He was so cute! I was kind of nervous because we tried this on him a couple weeks ago and he would not wear it. He threw a huge fit. But, on Halloween he actually wore it!

On Friday we went to our ward Halloween Carnival. We had lots of fun.

On Saturday, Jace and I did a few little crafts.

and made pom pom monsters!!!

We then went to Teresa's house and carved pumpkins and ate pizza. Jace would not touch the insides of the pumpkin. He hates things on his hands!!



Jace just learned how to suck out of a straw. He had lots of fun with this straw!

We also went to Teresa's Trunk or Treat.






After Trunk or Treating we went to see the grandparents. Jace decided he wanted to change things up a bit and become a frozen spud!!



After a long day....it was time to relax!!

Catch up!!

It has been a while since my last post and I figured it was time to catch up! Jace is growing up so fast. He will be 1 in nine days!! He is so much fun and learning something new everyday. Jace has hit quite a few milestones in the last couple of months and we are really starting to see his personality. Jace was quite slow when learning how to crawl but made up for it just a few weeks later when he started walking. He took his first steps earlier this month and now is a cruising machine. Sometimes he still prefers crawling because he can get places really fast, but he is starting to walk more and more everyday.

Jace has the cutest personality. He smiles all of the time and has the cutest little laugh.

Cody came over to our house and they have the exact same blanket. Jace's blanket was in the wash when Cody got to our house and Jace did not understand why Cody would not give him his blanket. He was very upset!! When he finally got his blanket, he would not let it out of his sight. He loves this blanket and it has to go everywhere!!!

The other day Jace found a case of Charley's pop on the kitchen floor and thought he would help himself to it!! (I tried to post the video but for some reason it doesn't want to work)

Every night after Jace falls asleep we have to go into his room and "unfold him"

Jace also really loves to read books, sing and dance. It is so funny because during primary he dances and sings (screams) to the music. He loves going to primary and seeing all of the kids. The kids love him too. Sometimes I think they pay more attention to him than they do to me!! His favorite song is "if your happy and you know it." He loves being around people but can be really shy at first.

Jace is such a special boy and we love him so much. We can't imagine life without him!
